Our story begins with Nav, a proud graduate of the University of Toronto, who spent years
working alongside NRI Marriage Bureau, a trusted matchmaking service helping South Asian
couples across Canada. Through hundreds of consultations with newly engaged couples, one
message kept coming up: “We love living in Canada, but when it comes to our wedding, we
want it to feel like home.”
Couples from all across the South Asian community—Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Bengali, Sikh and others—often struggled to find the right vendors and planners who truly understood their cultural needs, their dreams, and the depth behind every ritual. That’s where GTA Event Planners was born: to help people feel deeply connected, seen, and celebrated—no matter where they are.
We also serve many couples who are born and raised in Canada, navigating what it means to blend their heritage with modern ideas and personal expression.
